Jamaican Artists Come Together To Ring In 2023 With Intimate New Year's Day Concert

Ringing in 2023, on New Year's Day in St. Ann, Jamaica, multiple artists came together and created an amazing experience! This was no ordinary concert, it was undeniably an experience you had to witness. The gates opened at 5PM and thousands of people from all over the world lined up to watch the show, over 20,000+ in attendance. This was the best way to start the new year off with such good energy. The show was simply impeccable. Once Beres Hammond and Buju Banton touched the stage the crowd went crazy. Their chemistry during the performance was so authentic and graceful. Together this dynamic duo showed us what Intimate is really like. Beres Hammond performed his biggest hits and Buju simply followed it up with the same energy. As the crowd sang every song lyric for lyric you could feel the love and passion in the atmosphere. Fans even handed them roses as they performed, just to express their gratitude. Amongst the audience you could also hear people talk about how therapeutic the music was.

Other artists such as Marcia Griffiths, Tarrus Riley, Dyani, LUST, Nittie Kutchie, and Mitch Madison performed earlier in the night which set the tone for what was to come.

The icing on the cake was a surprise performance by singer, Popcaan. Beres bought him out and they sang their hit record, "God is Love." As soon as Papi touched the stage the crowd began to jump immediately. He also gave Beres his flowers and showed his respect and appreciation. It is safe to say that Intimate was the ultimate experience and there was no better way to start off the new year.
